Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The assignment aims to produce an updated and comprehensive overview of Migrant Resource Centres (MRCs) in Africa. The assignment includes developing a clear and concise mapping of MRCs, documenting their services, scope of work, operational models, good practices, and key achievements. It will also assess which services are most frequently requested by migrant workers during May–June 2026. The study will identify gaps and priority needs of ILO‑supported MRCs across Africa, with particular attention to the gender responsiveness of their services and operations. Based on these findings, the assignment will propose recommendations to strengthen MRCs, addressing service delivery gaps, institutional challenges, and opportunities for integrating gender‑transformative approaches. A review of best practices will also be carried out. In addition, shared tools will be developed, including a joint Monitoring & Evaluation toolkit (with client registration cards and quarterly reporting templates); and a sustainability tool. The results will be presented at a regional workshop with MRCs. Feedback from this workshop will inform final recommendations for strategic ILO activities. If you are interested, please express interest and follow the instructions attached to consult the detailed terms of reference and other relevant information in the ILO e-sourcing platform. Please submit your proposal before the specified deadline. Thank you.
