Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The collaborator is expected to carry out an assessment of the current situation of access to justice for migrant workers in Nigeria consisting potential, outbound and returning migrants 1. Map and assess existing non-judicial and judicial grievance mechanisms 2. Analyse national and international laws, policies, provisions within the bilateral labour migration agreements governing access to justice for migrant workers in Nigeria. 3. Examine the role of trade unions and other stakeholders in protecting migrant workers' rights and providing access to justice. 4. Analyse the social, economic, and legal barriers that hinder migrant workers from seeking redress. 5. Explore how gender impacts access to grievance mechanisms and justice for migrant workers. 6. Identify challenges and best practices relating to cross border access to justice for migrants in Arab States. 7. Make recommendations to facilitate migrant workers' access to justice.
