The purpose of this contract is to improve the functionality of the Western Pacific Regional Antimicrobial Consumption Surveillance System (WPRACSS) web portal and provide software maintenance and operational support for the web portal for twelve (12) months. Background The Western Pacific Regional Office for WHO (WPRO) has developed the WPRACSS web-portal to support Member States in collecting and analysing data on antimicrobial consumption (AMC) at the national, hospital and community pharmacy levels. Each module of the web portal is distinct and serves a specific purpose, following a unique methodology for the collection, analysis and visualisation of AMC data. The following enhancements were done in 2025 to the WPRACSS web portal to improve its functionality, and will be deployed to production on the WPRO in-house server: Allowing admin users to revise and update backend libraries (ATC/DDD index and AWaRe classification) that determine data analysis calculations. The ATC/DDD index is updated annually, while the AWaRe classification of antibiotics is updated every two years. Enabling users to submit substance-level and basket-level data in the national module, in addition to the current product-level format. Providing a process for new users to request a login ID on the WPRACSS home page. Allowing the hospital module to submit the required hospital activity data directly through the web portal instead of uploading an Excel document. Including additional minor enhancements, such as reports can be downloaded in PDF format, an updated resource page, and layout, etc. Please use the subject line WHO Bid Reference WPRO/2026-01/EMT/289694’ in all email submissions.
