ProcureProcess - UNICEF Others Non Governmental 2025-04-07 to 2025-04-28
UNICEF has now issued a Request for Proposals in order to select a supplier for the provision of institutional consultancy services for Endline Survey of the SUNN Scaling Up Nutrition MCDP! Zambia programme. BRIEF BACKGROUND Purpose: The Endline Survey aims to assess the impact of the SUN/MCDP II programme, building on findings from the baseline evaluation (2019) and midline assessments (2022). Objectives The specific objectives of the evaluation are: • To evaluate the progress made in improving child and maternal nutrition status, including stunting, wasting, underweight, and maternal nutrition. • To assess the performance of strategies employed (pathways to change and coordination mechanisms), and actions taken to improve child and maternal nutrition and the validity of key assumptions and risks. • To assess the impact of the key determinants to maternal and child nutritional status, such as household food security, access to water and sanitation, and the coverage and reach of nutrition interventions. • To understand to what extent the program was implemented according to its original design. If there were any deviations, what were the causes? • To identify and document lessons learned and provide recommendations to inform future programming and policy decisions. • To provide insights into the sustainability of nutrition interventions and suggest ways to strengthen resilience in the face of future challenges, ensuring long-term improvements in maternal and child nutrition IMPORTANT NOTE: This tender will be run through the UNICEF e-submissions system.
