IOM Kenya is inviting international and national non-government organizations (I/NGOs) in Kenya with proven capacity, field presence and technical expertise to implement various data collection activities on strengthening evidence-based strategies to support Government of Kenya. The activities will benefit the people on the move and, host communities, in particular, women and youth in project’s geographical coverage. By generating evidence that could be used in advocacy and policy making for migrant and host communities In close collaboration with IOM Data and Research Unit, hire the IOM trained enumerators on Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse, Protection Sector Module, Phyco-social First Aid, Flow Monitoring Methodology. In close coordination with IOM Data and Research Programme Officer deployed, supervise and manage the team leaders and enumerators to collect data on Flow Monitoring Points identified by IOM Kenya In close coordination with the Data and Research Programme Assistant data is collected on a daily basis between Monday to Friday every week for the duration of the implementation period in accordance with the data collection atlas provided by IOM. Organize monthly community engagement forums with the community leaders, women and youth representatives and the migrant communities. Engage with and facilitate the expenses of Community Health Promoters and Migrant Community Leaders to access the migrant communities for interviews. With the authorization from Data and Research Programme Coordinator support other humanitarian and developmental data collection activities in accordance with the methodology, geographical coverage, data collection method, guidance and the tool that will be provided by IOM. Assign a full-time qualified focal person or project coordinator to supervise, manage and provide daily field support as well as daily data cleaning and quality checks, and oversight for the local team leaders and enumerators in close coordination with the Data and Research Programme Assistant. Supervise/manage the administrative and human resources needs and concerns of the local team leaders and enumerators, including remuneration, in accordance with local daily rate being imposed by the organization, including in providing transport, subsistence allowances and insurances under the IP’s medical and health procedures. Comply with any requirements of Implementing Partner agencies on behalf of IOM, such as supporting with documentation for audits, safeguarding and PSEAH. Submit the necessary narrative and financial reports, as required by IOM, based on agreed deadlines.
