The United Nations Support Office in Haiti (UNSOH) invites Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the construction of new boreholes and the repair, rehabilitation, and maintenance of existing boreholes at United Nations operational sites in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The requirement includes the full lifecycle of groundwater development works, including but not limited to: Geophysical and hydrogeological surveys; Construction of new boreholes, including drilling, casing, grouting, borehole development, testing, and commissioning; Rehabilitation, repair, and maintenance of existing boreholes; Installation of submersible pumps, pipelines, control panels, flow meters, and associated electromechanical works; Installation of water storage tanks and auxiliary infrastructure; Water quality testing in accordance with WHO drinking water guidelines and UN standards; Borehole disinfection, completion, commissioning, and handover. Works shall be executed across multiple UNSOH sites in Port-au-Prince under a Task Order–based, all-inclusive contract framework, whereby the Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, logistics, supervision, and risk mitigation measures necessary for the successful execution of the works. The anticipated contract duration is nine (9) months, with the possibility of extension, subject to operational requirements and satisfactory performance. UNSOH reserves the right to award the Contract(s) on a split-lot basis. Specific Requirements/Information Interested vendors must demonstrate the following minimum capabilities: • Proven experience in borehole drilling, rehabilitation, and water infrastructure projects of similar size, scope, and technical complexity; • Availability of appropriate drilling rigs, geophysical survey equipment, water testing instruments, and ancillary construction equipment; • Access to qualified and experienced technical personnel, including hydrogeologists, drilling supervisors, and site engineers; • Capacity to mobilize rapidly and operate in a complex security and operational environment; • Demonstrated compliance with United Nations environmental, quality, health, and safety requirements; • Experience working under task order–based or framework-type contracts is an advantage.
