The assignment involves adapting and developing the ILO’s "Formalize Your Business" training materials to the Kenyan context and conducting Training of Trainers sessions to support the formalization of informal enterprises. The consultant will adapt and develop the ILO’s “Formalize Your Business” (FYB) training materials to the Kenyan context, supporting the formalization of informal micro and small enterprises. This includes reviewing existing FYB materials and a national report on business registration and compliance, then adapting Part II of the learner’s manual to reflect Kenyan procedures. The consultant will also develop a glossary of technical terms and revise the trainer’s guide to align with the updated manual and the ILO’s Start and Improve Your Business (SIYB) methodology. Following the material development, the consultant will prepare for and conduct two Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions, each involving preparation, delivery, and reporting. The assignment spans 26 working days starting 15 August 2025 and will be carried out under the supervision of the ILO-PROSPECTS Programme Manager in Kenya, with technical guidance from ILO specialists.
