ProcureProcess - WHO Others Non Governmental 2025-07-23 to 2025-08-08
WHO is seeking for a qualified, eligible and competent proposer for the Construction Project Management by a company for the “Establishment of Mongolia Medicine Quality Control Laboratory (MMQCL)” . Background The Government of Mongolia, through the Ministry of Health, is embarking on a transformative infrastructure development project aimed at establishing the Mongolia Medicine Quality Control Laboratory (MMQCL). This initiative is critical for enhancing the country’s pharmaceutical testing capabilities, ensuring that they meet international standards for safety, efficacy, and quality. The project involves the construction and fit-out of specialized clean laboratories, microbiology and chemistry labs, and ancillary facilities that will support comprehensive quality control processes for pharmaceuticals. The MMQCL project is not only a response to the growing demand for high-quality medicines in Mongolia but also a strategic move to bolster public health and safety. By improving the laboratory infrastructure, the government aims to enhance the capacity for testing and quality assurance, thereby fostering trust in the pharmaceutical sector and improving health outcomes for the population. To ensure the successful execution of this ambitious project, the MMQCL seeks to engage a highly qualified Construction Project Manager (CPM). The CPM will play a pivotal role in coordinating and supervising all aspects of project implementation, ensuring that the construction adheres to approved plans, technical specifications, and the bill of materials (BOM). Objective The primary objective of the CPM is to ensure the effective and timely delivery of the construction components of the MMQCL project. This includes managing day-to-day construction operations, coordinating with key stakeholders, and ensuring full compliance with project documents, regulatory standards, and international best practices. The CPM will be instrumental in mitigating risks, resolving issues, and ensuring that the project is completed within budget and on schedule.
