1. The United Nations Global Procurement Support Section in Entebbe (GPSS) on behalf of the United Nations Regional Service Centre Entebbe (UN RSCE) is seeking an accredited and independent certification body to conduct an external certification audit in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 with the objective to issue a Certificate of Conformity valid for three (3) years, and conduct annual surveillance audits to confirm continued compliance. 2. Proposers are expected to conduct an on-site verification of conformity with ISO 9001:2015, issue Certificate of Conformity, review continued conformity, effectiveness, and performance improvements during the two (2) annual surveillance audits, followed by the renewal of the ISO 9001:2015 certification. 3. In this regard, the United Nations (UN) is requesting expressions of interest from a suitably qualified vendors to undertake the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) certification audit for United Nations Regional Service Centre Entebbe (RSCE) Detailed Specifications will be provided in a separate Bid Document to be issued in due course. Specific Requirements/Information At the bidding stage, all participants will have to prove their capacity and competencies by providing the following, among others: a) Be accredited by an International Accreditation Forum (IAF) member to issue ISO 9001:2015 certificates. b) Provide proof of valid accreditation and scope. c) Have at least five (5) years of experience in certifying comparable organizations. d) Interested vendors should be registered in UNGM with relevant UNSPSC codes. ONLY vendors that meet the above requirements are encouraged to express interest. The details of the requirement will be included in the solicitation document to be issued after the closing of this REOI. Electronic response as guided below to this EOI is preferred. Please note that this request for expression of interest is not an invitation to submit a bid and submission of EOI would not automatically warrant receipt of solicitation documents.
