UNDP is one of largest buyers of goods and services (approximately USD 2.5 billion/year) that includes purchasing of various goods and services, including energy supply. As a result of this RFI exercise, UNDP intends to launch an open tender process and potentially award contracts to one or more qualified bidders, depending on project requirements and their experience in delivering gas generators. The scope of the RFI is expected to focus specifically on 2MW gas generators available in the global market, including installation services and auxiliary equipment. The actual demand for these generators will be determined based on the specific needs of individual projects in Iran.
