Country:   Viet Nam Description of the Assignment:  National Team Leader on Climate Change Adaptation for the Preparation of the Technical Report Chapter on Climate Change Adaptation to Inform Viet Nams NDC 3.0  Period of assignment/services (if applicable): July 2025 - December 2025  Objectives:The objective of this assignment is to lead the development of a comprehensive technical report chapter on climate change adaptation to inform Viet Nam’s NDC 3.0, ensuring that it reflects institutional progress, key adaptation actions, and future priorities. The Climate Change Adaptation Team, under the guidance of the National Team leader on Climate Change Adaptation, will evaluate adaptation efforts from 2021 to 2025; assess sectoral and regional progress; identify challenges, gaps, and opportunities; and recommend improved or additional adaptation priority measures for the period from 2025 to 2035. These measures will aim to achieve Viet Nam’s long-term climate goal set under the National Climate Change Strategy by 2050 and contribute to the Paris Agreement goals.Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.Any request for clarification must be sent in writing via messaging functionality in the portal.
