The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON), on behalf of the Office of the United Natins for High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) Guinea , invites qualified interested firms to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming solicitation for the Provision of Internet services at Conakry and Nzerekore Offices in Guinea. Due to the high use of Internet connection and the growing number of its users, OHCHR Guinea is looking for a broadband Internet connection solution. The current Internet connection is provided via fiber optics with a radio link backup. To ensure high availability, the OHCHR Guinea office is looking for an Internet connection that can optimally support the resources that are vital to its day-to-day operations, such as messaging, access to collaboration platforms, financial, administrative, and human resources management applications, VPN links and one or more high-capacity accesses to the public Internet network. The Internet connection must cover the office locally and provide a reliable link to the Internet network. The services required must be terrestrial via fiber optics, with a backup radio link if the fiber optic connection is not possible. The Internet Service Provider must ensure end-to-end service, by guaranteeing a dedicated bandwidth and providing 365/24/7 support for the entire office.
