Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The consultant will serve as Lead Author for the development of a comprehensive and modular Manual on Statistics of Cooperatives, aligned with the 2018 ILO Guidelines concerning Statistics of Cooperatives. The manual will provide step-by-step methodological guidance, tools, and examples to support the production of coherent, harmonized, and internationally comparable statistics on cooperatives. The work will involve a literature review; drafting of the manual; collaboration with technical working groups, including the TWG on SSE Statistics and the TWG on the Measurement of the Economic Contribution of Cooperatives; and continuous engagement with the Community of Practice on Cooperative and SSE Statistics. The consultant will also integrate findings from related research and provide technical inputs to the development of forthcoming ILO guidelines on statistics of the social and solidarity economy. The assignment includes the preparation of an inception report, draft and final versions of the manual, and participation in at least five knowledge-sharing events. All work will be carried out in close coordination with the ILO COOP/SSE Unit.
