The National Immunization Program (NIP) recognizes the critical role of a well-maintained cold chain system in ensuring the efficacy of vaccines. To further strengthen this system, NIP intends to establish a dedicated Cold Chain Equipment (CCE) Hub. This facility will serve as a central workshop for capacity building and spare parts storage, enhancing the technical capabilities of local technicians at both national and subnational levels. This workshop will provide a platform for training and skill development of local technicians in the areas of minor repair and maintenance of cold chain equipment and to maintain a centralized repository of essential spare parts for timely and efficient repairs and replacements.
