UNICEF South Africa Country Office intends to implement a three-month pilot Face to Face fundraising campaign focused on mall-based donor acquisition, with the possibility of extending the campaign to nine months on the same terms, subject to satisfactory performance during the initial three-month period. The pilot will assess: • The ability of F2F to acquire high-quality, long-term donors • Cost-effectiveness and return on investment • Operational feasibility within the current South African market • The potential role of F2F as a sustainable, complementary acquisition channel The findings from this pilot will inform future decisions on scaling Face-to-Face fundraising as part of a diversified Individual Giving strategy, aimed at ensuring long-term, predictable income to support UNICEF’s programmes for children.
