The project's objective is to increase capacity and awareness among cities for net zero transport planning and support these with roadmaps that will help cities reduce motorisation and improve coverage of zero-emission vehicles and zero-emission transit. Envisaged outcome: Improved ability of cities in fast developing countries to plan for and implement net zero urban transport measures, through an enhanced capacity to understand travel behaviour, evaluate net zero technology options and ability to prepare roadmaps to implement these options. The overall project consists of four activities Setting up the avoid-shift-improve framework and develop methodological approach for net-zero transport planning in cities.
