The United Nations Procurement Division's Global Procurement Support Section (GPSS) in Entebbe, Uganda invites suitably qualified and registered firms (manufacturers or their authorized representatives) to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming competitive bidding exercise for supply and delivery of new (unused) 463L type air cargo pallets (463L HCU-6/E PALLET), to support C-130 cargo operations, with equivalent tie-down nets and equipment that are essential components for securely fastening cargo to these pallets during transport. The scope of requirements include: Complete set of eight to twelve (min.8- max.12) HCU-6/E / 463L air cargo pallets, (Dimensions: 108"W x 88"L x 2.25"H, Capacity: 10,000 lbs.), with: o Air Pallet Net Assembly: Cargo Net, full top and side nets, o Cargo nets with quick snap hooks and adjusters with restrains, o Tiedown Straps, Nylon, o Cargo Covers, o Pallet Couplers – square and rectangular The complete shipment of the 463L air cargo pallets and accessories shall be delivered to Door United Nations Regional Service Centre, Entebbe, Uganda. The Contract is envisaged for a duration of one (1) year. Subsequent to the closing date of this EOI, GPSS anticipates to issue a formal solicitation document to potential companies who have expressed interest to provide the goods and services in accordance with the requirements that will be fully specified in the solicitation document.
