They must follow all BFC/ILO policies, ethical rules, confidentiality requirements, and quality standards. Their work includes preparing for assessments, conducting on‑site reviews with BFC assessors, drafting parts of the assessment report, providing evidence, and responding to reviewer feedback. They must use only BFC systems for work, declare conflicts of interest, report unethical behaviour, and avoid any advisory or training services to factories. Ethical violations may result in contract termination.
