The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) invites companies to express their interest to participate in the upcoming bidding exercise for the Generator Operation and Maintenance Services at its nine (9) locations (Kabul, Kandahar, Mazar, Pul-i-Khumri, Gardez, Kunduz, Bamyan, Maimana and Jalalaband) in Afghanistan on 24 / 7 basis. All the spare parts including Filters, Fuel and Lubricants used in this service will be provided by UNAMA. EXTENT OF WORK: The Operation & Maintenance Services includes but not limited to: • Daily Generator Operation and Maintenance Services. • Emergency breakdown maintenance services. • Generator Top & Major Overhaul services. • Refueling of Generator Fuel tanks. • Maintain Generator Log Book. • Housekeeping of Generator & Generator Power House. Other UN entities operating in Afghanistan will be invited to join in the resulting solicitation after the close of REOI. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS: This REOI will be used to pre-screen potential bidders. The solicitation documents will be issued after the REOI closing date only to those potential bidders which will have submitted documents that clearly and indisputably confirm / proves compliance with the below listed mandatory specific pre-screening requirements.
