Below is a summary of the work to be performed: (The legal database is a distinctive and exclusive product of EPIC – the Equal Pay International Coalition. To retain its value and relevance, it must be regularly updated to reflect the latest legal developments. To this end, in later 2025, the ILO launched a two-phase process to update the database. In the first phase, updates covering 188 countries were completed using publicly available sources and shared with the relevant governments for validation. In the second phase, the ILO is seeking a qualified consultant with a legal background to lead the next stage of quality control and to prepare the data for online publication. The assignment consists of: - Analysing all legal inputs submitted to the ILO by governments. Submission can be in different languages: English, French or Spanish; - Verifying all inputs’ accuracy and coherence; - Meticulously integrating each submission into the system ready files provided by the ILO according to INFOTEC requirements provided to the consultant in the form of an excel file. - Providing a final report listing all countries updated, sources used, and potential pending requests in Word format).
