Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The International Labour Office (ILO) is seeking an External Collaborator to provide quantitative technical expertise for the development and application of a microsimulation module under the Global Accelerator on Jobs and Social Protection for Just Transitions in Cambodia. The assignment will focus on the design and implementation of a machine-learning-based microsimulation framework, with labour migration and return migration as one of the key analytical topics, and on its integration within the ILO’s Structural Model for Sustainable Development (SMSD). The External Collaborator will support microdata processing, model development, policy and scenario simulations, and interpretation of results, in close collaboration with ILO technical teams, national stakeholders, and software developers. The assignment will also contribute to capacity-building activities, including the development of training materials, delivery of selected training sessions, and guidance of applied research using microsimulation outputs. The work will support evidence-based policy analysis on employment, social protection, and just transitions in Cambodia, aligned with Global Accelerator priorities.
