The United Nations is planning to invite competitive proposals for the long-term provision of bulk supply of fuel (Jet A-1 and Diesel) to the United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS). Anticipated contract period is 3+1+1 years. A supplier may be awarded contract to source and supply one or both products to one or multiple locations as solely determined by the UN. Products: Jet A1 meeting DEF STAN 91-91 and Diesel meeting BS EN 590 or equivalent standards. Service: Sourcing and delivery of Jet A1 or Diesel, or both, to the UN Fuel Distribution Point(s) (storage facilities) at one or more of below listed locations in Somalia. The product shall be on specification and meet relevant quality standards as certified by relevant laboratory test certificates and jointly determined by testing upon delivery to the UN location. The supplier shall provide own or leased appropriate means of transport to the delivery location. Delivery to some of the locations may have to be made in drums, as specified below. Jowhar [Diesel in truck tankers and Jet A1 filled in drums by air] 7. Kismayo [Diesel and Jet A-1 by ocean tankers or in truck tankers] Split award (by locations and/or by product type) may be allowed.
