The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON), on behalf of UN-Habitat, invites qualified, licensed, and reputable hotels in Baku, Azerbaijan, to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the provision of accommodation services during the Thirteenth Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), scheduled for 17–22 May 2026 at the Baku Olympic Stadium. Scope of Requirement • Provision of approximately 500 single rooms (bed and breakfast basis). • Accommodation period: 16–23 May 2026 (to include early arrivals and late departures). • Hotels must be located preferably within close proximity (20 km radius) of the Baku Olympic Stadium. Services must include: o Comfortable rooms with international-standard amenities. o Daily breakfast buffet. o 24-hour front desk and security services. o Free Wi-Fi access in rooms and public areas. o Accessible rooms for participants with disabilities. o Designated hotel liaison for coordination with UN-Habitat. IMPORTANT: Please note that this REOI is not an invitation for submission of tenders. Its purpose is to identify companies that would be interested and eligible to participate in the solicitation when issued. UNON will examine the outcome of this request for RREOI and will consider those companies that have expressed their interest. UNON reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the REOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this Request for REOI does not automatically gurantee your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. Specific Requirements/Information Interested vendors must posses the necessary expertise and capacity to provide the required services, as only suitably qualified vendors will be invited to participate. Vendors expressing interest must be registered with the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) at minimum of Basic Registration Level. Vendors not registered in UNGM will not be eligible to paricipate in the tender exercise at a later stage.
