Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is seeking an individual to serve as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: Under the overall supervision of the ILO project team, the external collaborator will design, organize and deliver capacity building workshops as part of a Training of Trainers (ToT), and provide targeted follow-up advisory services to support the implementation of the SCORE4Climate module in participating factories. This will contribute to improving climate risk management, including workplace measures to promote decarbonization, manage heat stress, and advance environmentally sustainable business practices, while addressing specific factory-level challenges and strengthening the practical application of climate-responsive workplace practices. Particular attention will be given to enhancing occupational safety and health (OSH) and productivity through the adoption of climate-responsive and environmentally sustainable practices. The assignment will focus on facilitating the transfer and adaptation of practical knowledge and experience from Japanese companies and technical experts to the Ethiopian context, ensuring that such knowledge is effectively integrated into SCORE training delivery and factory-level practices. The assignment will also include identifying opportunities to enhance access to the Japanese market for Ethiopia’s textile, garment, and leather sector. In addition, initiatives will be undertaken to introduce the target sector to Japanese companies, with a view to fostering long-term business relationships.
