About 17,000 people workfor the organization, most of them in remote areas, directly serving the hungry poor. The WFP Climate and Resilience Unit seeks to purchase and solicit technical assistance and expertise from competent firms and institutions to support the implementation, uptake and capacity transfer of open-sourceAI/ML models such as Conditional Generative Adversarial Network (cGAN) and Numerical Weather Prediction(NWP) model for the implementation of the Strengthening Early Earning Systems for Anticipatory Action project. The purpose of this request for EOI is to identify suppliers with verified technical and financial capacity to provideConsultancy Services for Climate Forecasting using machine learning models such as the Conditional GenerativeAdversarial Network. Eligible suppliers will be invited to participate in the bidding process for the proposedRequest for Proposal (RFP) tender. The LTAs to support Machine Learning for climate forecasting will enable the implementation, scale up and operationalization of the AI/ML models such as the CGAN across different CO’s, RBx and globally.
