SCOPE OF THE WORKThe installation of renewable energy infrastructure, 55 units of Solar Street lights for installation on major streets in Gambia (1.5 km roads from Brikama Jah Oil to the Market), as its contribution to the MoPE renewable energy street lighting objective.The contractor will conduct on-site training of the selected personnel of the Local area council (the unit or department in charge of streetlights and its operation) where the lights will be installed, for the duration of the installation regarding the assembly, start-up, operation, and maintenance.All works carried out by the contractor should be maintained and ensure proper functioning of streetlight for at least another three months starting from the date of final acceptance.The Contractor will be responsible for all engineering and installation.The Contractor will be responsible for cleaning of the solar PV module for at least 3 months from the date of installation, commissioning and handing over.The contractor will make all necessary arrangements for satisfactory operation, maintenance, and performance of the Goods during the first 3 months after final acceptance of works.The Contractor shall adhere to best practice installation with proper earthing or grounding of all installations, utilization of high-quality cables with UV resistance and protections.Interested suppliers must submit their offer directly in the system as instructed in the solicitation document, following the instructions in the available user guide. In case you have never registered before, you can register a profile using the registration link shared via the procurement notice and following the instructions in guides available in the UNDP website: https://www.undp.org/procurement/business/resources-for-bidders. Do not create a new profile if you already have one.
