Rehabilitation and Upgrade of the Municipal Community Consultation Hall in Gurda, Libya Strengthening Local Peace building and Resilience in the South of Libya Part of UNDPs Local Peace building and Resilience Programme in southern Libya, funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this project aims to mitigate conflict through a resilience-based approach. The project offers a roadmap for recovery, peace building, and resilience in Al Sharguiya, Bint Baya, and Gurda Ashati. The project enhances local capacities to improve living conditions for vulnerable groups, such as women and youth, and to create livelihood opportunities that reduce dependence on illicit activities and promote market development. 1. Project description The project is the Rehabilitation and Upgrade of the Municipal Community Consultation Hall in Gurda, Libya, located in the city of Gurda. The aim is to provide a modern place environment for public use. a. Beneficiaries This project will benefit all fans to attend any event of all groups. 2. Location The project is in the city of Gurda: Site Coordinates (27°3438"N 14°1242"E) 3. Building/ Construction description The project targets rehabilitate part of the building which consist of main entrance and one main hall. 4. Works brief The Rehabilitation project includes civil, electrical works. Below is the important and summary of the required works, for more details refer to BOQ, the work shall include but not limited to the following: a. The contractor must fulfill the QA/QC together with project time schedule on MS project before the commencement of the project. b. The civil part of the works includes but are not limited to general cleaning, demolishing works, Masonry works, Painting Works( internal and external), ceramic, marbles, HVAC and lighting system, furniture as indicated on the BoQ. c. The electrical works include but are not limited to Led lighting, lighting switch and sockets outlets, as indicated on the BoQ. d. Air-conditioning works include but are not limited to split units with Tropical climate(T3) with inverters. 5. DURATION OF THE PROJECT The estimated duration of the project is 90 (Ninety) calendar days from the site-handover date.
