The United Nations Truce Supervision Organization (UNTSO) intends to engage the services of a qualified contractor for the repair/replacement of an access control system at the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization (UNTSO) Headquarters, main Building, in Jerusalem. The system includes: 1. Four (4) bollards 2. Two (2) traffic lights 3. Two (2) light arm barriers 4. One (1) electrical panel, and 5. Two (2) control panels with remote control. The Contractor shall initiate and perform all repair/replace works as required. Certified Contractors with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience (in repairs and installation of similar systems) will be invited to participate in the solicitation. The Contractor must therefore demonstrate the validity of this experience by providing documentary evidence (within the bid) of having engaged in the repair, replace and maintenance of similar security systems. The project will be done in three phases: 1. Assessment 2. Repair or Replace 3. After service support. Specific Requirements/Information IMPORTANT: 1. Please note that this REOI is not an invitation for submission of tenders. Its purpose is to identify contractors that would be interested and eligible to participate in the bidding process when issued. 2. UNTSO reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement during the REOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this REOI does not automatically guarantee your company will be invited to participate in the bidding process. Only contractors which in UN's sole discretion are deemed eligible and qualified upon completion of an objective evaluation of their REOI submissions may receive the final tender solicitation documents. 3. Companies must verify and ensure that they are registered under their full legal name with the UN Secretariat on the United Nations Global Marketplace (www.ungm.org). In addition, the desired Companies MUST have working experience in provision of similar goods and services. 5. Note that companies that have previously submitted EOI for similar services with UN must re-submit full documentation as detailed above. 6. UNTSO will examine the outcome of this request for EOI and will consider companies who have expressed their interest by providing the required information as to their ability to fulfill the requirement.
