The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) has a requirement for the provision of maintenance services for the centralized fire detection and fire suppression systems installed in the Data Centre building at the United Nations Information and Communications Facility (UNICTF) in Valencia, Spain. The UNICTF Data Centre is designated as a critical facility, hosting mission critical information and communication technology infrastructure. Ensuring the continuous availability, reliability, and regulatory compliance of the fire protection systems installed at the facility is essential to safeguarding personnel, infrastructure, and uninterrupted operations. The scope of services includes comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance, scheduled inspections, on call emergency interventions, and mandatory testing and certification of the fire detection and suppression systems in operation at the facility, including but not limited to: • Schneider FXM SLC Fire Detection System, including system hardware and software upgrades as required to ensure compatibility with current technologies and digital communication protocols; • Xtrallis VESDA Aspiration Smoke Detection Systems (IFT 1, IAS 10, IAS 20); • Conventional Fire Control Panel CFD4800; • FM 200 Gaseous Fire Suppression System, including cylinders, valves, piping, nozzles, and associated components; • Autonomous Breathing Apparatus (Dräger). Maintenance activities shall include scheduled inspections every six (6) months, testing of all detection and activation components, preparation of Detailed Technical Inspection Reports (DTIR), and one additional intervention per year when required by UNICTF. The services also include specialized activities such as hydrostatic testing and recertification of FM 200 cylinders in accordance with regulatory and manufacturer requirements. All services must be performed in full compliance with applicable Spanish legislation, European Union regulations, and recognized fire safety and engineering standards, including but not limited to: The anticipated contract duration is three (3) years, with the option for the United Nations, subject to satisfactory performance and budget availability, to extend the contract for two (2) additional one year periods (3+1+1), for a maximum total duration of five (5) years. The complete technical requirements and administrative instructions will be provided with a solicitation document to be issued at a later stage following the closing date for this EOI.
