1. In commemoration of the victims of the Khmer Rouge regime, which governed Cambodia from 1975 to 1979, two events will be organized in April and May at Siem Reap and Battambang province (one day each), as part of the 50th anniversary of the National Day of Remembrance 2025. The events will serve as vehicles for powerful messaging and aim to reach new audiences, including the younger generation, and spark meaningful conversations about the past and its lessons for the future. 2.The events seek to: • Honor the memory of victims and historical events. • Disseminate information about the Extraordinary Chamber in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC) and provide access to its archives as broadly as possible. • Foster meaningful discussions among participants. • Build partnerships across organizations. • Capture audience curiosity and attention. • Encourage active participation and reflection from attendees. • Opens new avenues for engagement and reflection. 3. The event dates and venues are already determined to be on 26 April 2025 at the Governor's Residence at Battambang province and 10 May 2025 at Angkor Park (Elephant Terrance) and/ or Tama Park (សួនតាម៉ា) at Siem Reap province. 4. Both events are open to the general public. 5. Event name is "Remembrance in motion 50 years of remembrance and collective healing" 6. Events are centred on education, personal development, healing and culture, featuring the mobile exhibition centre on a bus, booths operated by partners and cultural performances. 7.
