Dear Potential Consultants, The International Labour Office (ILO) invites qualified individuals to apply for the role of External Collaborator. Summary of service required: Better Work Viet Nam—a joint programme of the ILO and IFC—is seeking national external collaborators to support the annual factory compliance assessments in the apparel and footwear sectors. Collaborators will work alongside Better Work Enterprise Advisors to conduct assessments using the approved Compliance Assessment Tool (CAT) and Assessment Guidelines, covering areas such as: • Child labour • Forced labour • Discrimination • Freedom of association and collective bargaining • Compensation • Contracts and workplace relations • Occupational safety and health • Working time Key Responsibilities: • Conduct assessments in full compliance with Better Work methodologies. • Ensure strict adherence to QA/QC standards. • Safeguard all confidential information and assessment data. • Produce high-quality assessment reports in English. • Participate in peer-review processes. • Maintain complete and well-organised evidence archives following ILO/Better Work procedures. • Comply with the Better Work Anti-Bribery Policy and Ethical Code of Conduct. Assignments will take place in Hanoi and selected northern provinces in Viet Nam from February to December 2026, with potential for extension.
