The United Nations Procurement Division's Global Procurement Support Section (GPSS) in Entebbe, Uganda invites suitably qualified and registered firms to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming competitive bidding exercise for provision of catering and bar services on a concessionary basis for UNMISS in various locations around Juba and mission field office hubs across South Sudan. The service provider will be responsible for the provision of food preparation, catering and bar services at its headquarters, located in Juba (two camps i.e. Tomping and UN House) and nine Field Offices across South Sudan, namely in Aweil, Bor, Bentiu, Kuajok, Malakai, Rumbek, Torit, Wau and Yambio. The two camps in Juba accommodate 1,986 people, including national and international civilians, police and military while the field offices accommodate a range of 100 - 300 people. The service provider shall provide visually appealing meals, nutritionally balanced, wholesome, consisting of essential nutrients. The service provider shall also accommodate special dietary requirements upon request. Catering and bar services may vary by location and can include options such as à la carte menus, buffet or self-service meals, finger foods, takeaway, delivery and services for special events. Bidders will have the option to submit a proposal for all or specific locations. UN reserves the right to split the award to more than one Contractor. The Contract is envisaged for an initial duration of three (3) years with two one-year optional extensions (1+1) at the sole discretion of the United Nations. Subsequent to the closing date of this EOI, GPSS anticipates to issue a formal solicitation document to potential companies who have expressed interest to provide the goods and services in accordance with the requirements that will be fully specified in the solicitation document.
