Under the guidance of the Maternal Child Health and Quality Safety (MCQ) Unit in the WHO Regional Office for the Western Pacific (WPRO), the contractual partner will work on the activities to strengthen sterilization services and infection prevention and control (IPC) in the Western Pacific Region.   Key activities include supporting the implementation and scale-up of sterilization activities such as clinical coaching, the development of action plans, and the development of procurement plans for equipment and supplies), this will involve strengthening sterilization quality improvement in at least two countries in the Region finalizing the Making Hospitals Safe: Sterilization Services guide developed by WHO/WPRO; designing an approach to facilitator training to support implementation in participating countries; and conducting country-level facilitator training to enhance capacity and ensure effective implementation of sterilization services.
