1. ESCAP intends to improve fire safety design through developing appropriate fire strategies, for the existing buildings and upcoming projects. In addition to demonstrating compliance with local regulations and international standards. A suitably experienced and qualified company is sought to undertake all fire safety designs, identify potential risks and make recommendations for appropriate fire safety designs in construction, facilities improvement projects and operation of buildings. 2. ESCAP has 3 buildings located at the intersection of Rajadamnern Nok Avenue and Krung Kasem Road in Bangkok, Thailand.The 3 buildings are located in a enclosed compound of 27,172m²: 2.1. The Secretariat Building is a 15-storey main office building with one basement for mechanical/electrical services serving both Secretariat and Service Buildings. Floor area: 29,373 m², consutructed in 1975. 2.2. The Service Building, a 5-storey office building with one basement and one parking floor. Floor area: 19,155 m², constructed in 1975. 2.3. The UNCC, 3-storey Conference Centre with 2 basements for mechanical and electrical plants and parking. Floor Area: 57,220m², constructed in 1993. 3. Likely Deliverables expected from the Consultant: a) Conduct site surveys and interviews with key personnel, b) Remain on-call for projects throughout the duration of the 5- year contract, and c) Draft and present assessment reports, designs and recommendations to ESCAP and its stakeholders in person and online.
