The UNGSC requires a Contractor for the Provision of Oils, Lubricants & Automotive Consumables to the United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC, Brindisi). DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIREMENT: The United Nations Global Service Center (UNGSC) seeks an appropriately qualified vendor to establish a Long-term Contract for the Provision of Oils, Lubricants & Automotive Consumables to the United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC, Brindisi - ltaly) on an "as and when required" basis, for the maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of vehicles, equipment, generators, and other UN specialized equipment within various inventories maintained at the UNGSC. The Contract will have an initial duration of three (3) years, with the option to be extended for additional two (2) periods of one (1) year each, up to a maximum contract period of five (5) years. Delivery Terms: Delivery at Place - DAP UNGSC, Brindisi, ltaly. The following list is a non-exhaustive example of the type of products required: Automatic Transmission Fluid-ATF Red DEXTRON III - Engine Oil 10W-40; 15W-40; 5W-30; Gear Oil 75W90; 80W90 EPC; 85W-140; Hydraulic Oil HD 30; HD 10w30; ISO 32/SAE W10; ISO 46. Concentrated Antifreeze Blue and Red; Brake Fluid; Grease in Drum; Grease in Tube-400 gr. Kindly note that the UN is exempt from direct tax and duty, including ACCISA. The offered oils, lubricants and automotive consumables must comply with any of the following standards: 1. API-American Petroleum Institute 2. SAE-Society of Automotive Engineers 3. ACEA-European Automobile Manufacturers Association 4. ISO-International Organization for Standardization 5. And/or Vehicle/Equipment Manufacturer's own standards as applicable. At the Bid submission, vendors will be requested to provide evidence of compliance with these standards. Details of the technical evaluation criteria and other requirements will be provided under the Request for Quotation at a later stage. Vendors interested in participating must demonstrate the necessary technical expertise and capacity to deliver the required services, as only suitably qualified vendors will be invited to participate in the tender exercise. To express interest, vendors must be registered with the UN Secretariat via the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) at a minimum of the Basic Level. Vendors not registered with the UN Secretariat via UNGM will be ineligible to participate in the subsequent Request for Quotations (RFQ) stage. An Expression of Interest does not guarantee participation in the request for quotation as only suitably qualified vendors will be invited to participate.
