UNON has embarked on a major capital project, referred to as Conference Facilities Project (CFP). The objective of this project is to meet the current and future conferencing needs and address foreseeable conferencing requirements of the Organization over the next 25 to 30 years. The project is currently in the Design Stage. Through the Geotechnical Investigation service, CFP team would like to obtain geotechnical data information to proceed with RIBA stage 3&4 detailed design. The UNON CFP is currently undergoing geotechnical investigations, an area of concern has been identified at a former (not-in-service) petrol station site within the project footprint. Further detailed investigations are required to assess the presence and extent of possible soil contamination. This investigation will support decision-making regarding necessary further investigations as well as potential need of clean-up and restoration measures. Objective:The Purpose for this Request for Information is to gather information on cost effectiveness of the services offered in accordance with the market. Scope of the RFI: Suppliers are requested to provide costs on the items below: (1) To Drill four (4) boreholes to depth of (6) six meters below ground level. (a) These boreholes will be drilled using auger drilling method adjacent to the former (not-in-service) petrol station. (b) Soil samples to be collected at 2-meter intervals. (c) Three (3) soil samples to be collected from each borehole. Total of (12) Twelve soil samples to be collected. (2) The vendor shall provide laboratory reports quantifying detected contaminants and comparing results against the threshholds and laboratory testing methods stipulated in Annex A attached. (3) Conduct GPS data collection (XYZ-coordinates) of all 11 boreholes and 4 trial pits within the UNON complex. Note: Please submit your responses via email to
