The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), established on December 14,1950, by the United Nations General Assembly invites, qualified suppliers to make a firm offer for the Supply and Installation of Solar Energy Systems and Solar Accessories Damaturu LGA, Yobe State Under this initiative, UNHCR aims to promote the local integration of IDPs in urbanizing locations in Yobe State, particularly in Damaturu Local Government Area (LGA). The proposed solar energy installations will ensure that SIDPIN beneficiaries—including IDPs and host community members—have access to reliable electricity to support vocational training, improve education infrastructure, enhance safety, and strengthen access to essential services. This intervention will also contribute to sustainable livelihood opportunities beyond the project lifecycle. The overall objective of this assignment is to supply, install, test, and commission solar power systems and solar-powered accessories for selected facilities in Damaturu LGA, Yobe State, thereby improving access to clean, reliable, and sustainable energy.
