The Climate Vulnerable Forum (CVF) is an international partnership of 70 countries highly vulnerable to a warming planet. The Forum serves as a South-South cooperation platform for participating governments to act together to deal with the climate emergency. It is composed of leaders of 70 governments from Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Latin America, the Middle East, and the Pacific, who together represent 1.75 billion people. The assignment “Update to the Low-Carbon Monitor: Building Resilience and Alternative Economic Pathways through Climate Prosperity” will aim to update the Low-Carbon Monitor (LCM) report that was issued in 2016 by the Climate Vulnerable Forum (CVF) and the V20 Finance Ministers. The project will contribute primarily to the “Activity 1.4.3 Low Carbon Monitor (LCM) Series” as part of the “Activity Area 1.4. Amplify Climate Awareness & Momentum” within the framework of the “CVF Workstream” of the work plan for the CVF & V20 Joint Multi-Donor Fund (JMDF). Further informations can be found in the documents provided with this RFP.IMPORTANT NOTE: Interested vendors must respond to this tender using the UNOPS eSourcing system, via the UNGM portal.
