Objectives The objective of this consultancy is to edit and lay out the document: “FROM PRINCIPLES TO PRACTICE: RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS CONDUCT AMONG MALAYSIAN ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS AND AUTOMOTIVE ENTERPRISES” which covers 14 pages and approximately 4,000 words. Tasks 1 Editing Further edit the draft document according to the ILO House Style Manual: Sixth Edition, to satisfy existing ILO formatting and publication standards. Proofread to detect and correct errors in spelling, punctuation and syntax and subsequently improve the format, style, accuracy of texts, language usage, punctuation, grammar, terminologies, jargon and semantics of the document. Verify the flow and consistency of the content of the document. 2 Lay Out/ Desktop Publishing (DTP) Design the document by incorporating appropriate artwork including pictures. Ensure the layout is in accordance with the new ILO branding of publication, style and format: Overview - Publications - Brand Hub - Guidelines The consultant can access photos from the ILO Flickr and other photos that may be provided by ILO if needed. The consultant shall attribute photos or images as per ILO rules and guidelines. Expected product 1 . Final version of the document (in print-ready PDFs, and files for the website) in accordance with the ILO publication standards including necessary formatting, edits and font styles and upon satisfaction of the ILO. 2. All raw and original files shall be submitted to the ILO. The end product of the layout artist will be in: Original (Adobe Illustrator or In Design/Photoshop) editable files; and PDF high resolution for printing and ready to upload web version. original Adobe; 3. All materials and outputs become the property of the ILO and all rights shall be vested in the ILO including without any limitation, the rights to use, publish (including the Web) or distribute privately or publicly. 4. No substitution of output is allowed without discussing with the ILO and should be approved in writing via email by the ILO.
