It is anticipated that the International Criminal Court (hereafter referred to as the ICC) located in The Hague, The Netherlands, will shortly be issuing a solicitation for the Provision of Witness Travel Insurance Service. In this connection, the ICC is requesting expression of interest from qualified firms.     Brief Scope of Work   1. Introduction The Victims and Witnesses Section (VWS) of the International Criminal Court (ICC) provides protective measures and security arrangements, counselling and other assistance to witnesses and victims who appear before the Court and others who are at risk on account of testimony given by such witnesses or their interaction with the Court. The VWS is responsible for managing, among others the administration and coordination of persons required to interact with or testify before the Court. This activity includes ensuring travel and security arrangements necessary to facilitate the trial appearance of such persons..   2. Purpose The purpose of this RFP (Request for Proposal) is to contract an insurance company to provide a comprehensive travel insurance service to persons traveling for the purpose and account of their testimony before the international criminal court and/or for any other relevant reasons.   3. Target persons Persons who travel to The Hague in the Netherlands for the purpose of appearing before the Court during court hearings at the International Criminal Court and their accompanying persons, or for other related purposes.
