The project offers a roadmap for recovery, peacebuilding, and resilience in Murzuq. The project enhances local capacities to improve living conditions for vulnerable groups, such as women and youth, and to create livelihood opportunities that reduce dependence on illicit activities and promote market development.1. PROJECT BACKGROUNDa. Project descriptionThe project involves the supply of electrical materials to support the development of an electrical feeding line for farms in Murzuq Municipality. This initiative aims to enhance agricultural productivity by ensuring reliable access to electricity in the targeted farming areas.b. BeneficiariesThe primary beneficiaries of this project are:• Farmers operating within the designated area.• Residents of Murzuq Municipality who will benefit from improved infrastructure and services.2. Works briefThe scope includes:• Supply of electrical equipment as detailed in the Bill of Quantities.• All materials must comply with GECOL specifications.• Final delivery and handover of equipment to GECOL.4.
