1. Background The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Regional Office for the Middle East and North Africa (ROMENA) is implementing the project Strengthening Yemen Coast Guard Operational Capacity. As part of this initiative, UNODC intends to procure outboard marine engines and a range of original spare parts for multiple outboard engine models ensuring operational readiness and sustainability of the YCG fleet. 2. Scope of Requirements The requirement covers the supply of original Yamaha outboard marine engine, and a range of original spare parts for multiple outboard engine models. Specific Requirements/Information 3. Special Requirements / Information • Vendors must be authorized dealers/distributors or provide proof of OEM authorization for supply. • All items must be brand new, genuine, and manufactured by original owner of the brand . • Vendors must have proven experience in supplying marine engines and spare parts to government, defense, international organizations, or similar size organizations. • Delivery must be inclusive of freight, port clearances, customs clearnace, land transportation, and other necessary expense to deliver the items to Aden, Yemen. • Vendors must be registered on the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM), or commit to register prior to any contract award. 5. Important Notes •This REOI is not a solicitation. Submitting an EOI does not automatically guarantee participation in the subsequent bidding process.
