UNDP Viet Nam is seeking for a national research institution/a national research-based consulting firm/a local non-government organization to conduct a study on womens participation in public governance of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation.Overall objective: ·    - To enhance opportunities for women to participate in and shape government decision- and policymaking on STIDT. Specific objectives: ·    - To understand the current status of women’s participation in the governance of STIDT, with a focus on roles in policymaking, implementation and oversight in the public sector;- To analyse existing laws, policies, and guidelines that influence women’s participation in STIDT within public administration agencies and elected bodies, with a focus on leadership and decision-making roles, and to assess their effectiveness in addressing gender equality. · -  To identify and document successful practices and initiatives at national and provincial levels and internationally that have effectively promoted women’s engagement and leadership in STIDT within the public sector, facilitating peer learning and emulation.   ·-  To explore key factors—both enabling and hindering—affecting women’s engagement, retention, and advancement in these fields, including technical and senior leadership roles within relevant public administration agencies and elected bodies at both national and provincial levels; and,   ·   - To develop actionable policy recommendations aimed at improving the participation of women in government policy- and decision-making related to STIDT at both national and provincial levels. Duration: March - September 2025Duty station: Home-based and Ha NoiPlease indicate whether you intend to submit a bid by creating a draft response without submitting directly in the system.
