UNICEF Moldova invites interested companies to submit their proposals for  Development of the National Water Supply and Sanitation Sector Development Program for the period 2026-2030 The purpose of this assignment is to support the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development in developing the National Development Program for the Water Supply and Sanitation Sector for 2026-2030 while also assessing progress towards the commitments under SDG 6 and aligning the plan to the targets undertaken under the commitment to the EU Water Framework Directive, EU Drinking Water Directive 2020/2184, EU Directive on urban waste-water treatment 91/271/EEC. The aim of this activity is to prepare a National Development Program for the Water Supply and Sewerage Sector following the provisions of Government Decision No. 386/2020 on strategic planning, which will include responses to at least the following issues: increasing the quality of services by improving service regulation processes. mechanisms for regionalization of services. enhancing capacities for planning, budgeting processes, and mobilizing the necessary financial resources for water and sanitation infrastructure development while upholding human rights by ensuring access to safe drinking water and adequate sanitation for the population, including vulnerable groups and disadvantaged communities.
