The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON), on behalf of United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) invites qualified interested firms to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming solicitation to provide policy, planning and monitoring analytical expertise to UNEP’s adaptation projects in Africa and Asia. The work would comprise of three tasks for selected countries based on country demands: Scoping analysis for country level policy, legal and regulation harmonisation to attain adaptation objectives; Support National Adaptation Planning project teams to prepare: National Adaptation Plan (NAP) document; Support National Adaptation Planning projects to develop adaptation monitoring and reporting frameworks. The services and deliverables required are for English and French speaking countries. A minimum of 7 years' experience is needed in climate change adaptation planning and policy and monitoring frameworks, working at the country level and with government institutions, preferably in Africa and Asia. UNON on behalf of the UN Environment Programme is seeking to establish a 5-year (3+1+1) Contract for the above-mentioned Services. The complete details of the requirement will be provided in the tender documents that will be issued to bidders after this request for EOI is closed. Specific Requirements/Information IMPORTANT: Please note that this REOI is not an invitation for submission of tenders. Its purpose is to identify companies that would be interested and eligible to participate in the solicitation when issued. UNON will examine the outcome of this request for EOI and will consider those companies that have expressed their interest . UNON reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this Request for EOI does not automatically guarantee your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. Vendors expressing interest must be registered with UNGM, at minimum at the Basic Level. Vendors not registered in UNGM will not be eligible to participate in the Request for Proposal at a later stage. Details of the technical evaluation criteria and other particular requirements will be provided under the Request for Proposal at a later stage.
