Country: Bosnia and Herzegovina Description of the Assignment:  National Consultant – capacity building expert for protected areas management in BiH will:a. provide support to the project team in the development of appropriate module for long-term tracking the effects of climate changes to key biodiversity values. This will be used as input for the upgrade of the relevant information systems (epriroda and/or EIS CC);b. provide support to the project team in defining the suitable approaches for further promotion and awareness raising on importance of preservation of Bosnian alpine newt population at the territory of NM Prokosko jezero;c. provide support to the project team in designing the most effective and appropriate communication products to disseminate the results on wetland restoration in PH Tisina (Samac municipality);d. provide support in strategizing the mandate and role of the entity level Associations of PAs managers (PAMAs) by bringing up the insights on local and international policy processes and strategic thinking in field of nature and biodiversity protection. Period of assignment/services: 20 working days over the period March 2025 to May 2025 Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.Any request for clarification must be sent in writing via messaging functionality in the portal.
