Tender description: UNOPS seeks a qualified consulting firm (or firms) to conduct a comprehensive Feasibility Study for the development of sustainable agricultural infrastructure for smallholder farmers in the Lobito Corridor, Angola (Huambo and Benguela provinces).The primary objective is to perform a detailed technical, economic, environmental, and social assessment of approximately 30-45 pre-selected sites to identify the 15-20 most suitable locations for the implementation of infrastructure, including rainwater storage dams, irrigation canals, and eco-cooling warehouses.This Request for Proposal (RFP) is structured into two (2) distinct lots:LOT 1: Technical and Economic Feasibility StudiesLOT 2: Environmental and Social Feasibility StudiesOfferors may submit proposals for Lot 1 only, Lot 2 only, or for both Lots.The findings of this study will serve as the basis for the subsequent design and implementation phases of the project, supporting the Government of Angola (MINAGRIF/IDA).Key Requirements: This is an open, national/regional competition. Fluency in Portuguese is mandatory for this assignment.
