Objective: The main objective of this training is to strengthen the preparedness and operational capacity of helicopter Pilots , enabling them to execute effective SAR missions in response to emergencies. This will involve enhancing their technical capabilities to manage emergency situations involving but not limited to vulnerable migrants and other at-risk populations while complying with international SAR and humanitarian standards.  Methodology: The training will combine theoretical instruction with practical exercises, utilizing both ground school sessions and hands-on practice in a SAR AW-139 simulator. These practical simulations will allow helicopter Pilots to apply their knowledge in controlled environments that mimic real-world SAR operations under diverse scenarios. The training will emphasize the coordination between air and sea rescue operations, communication protocols, and the practical application of SAR modes.
