Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The Associate Consultant will provide in-country legal and technical support to advance the ongoing reform of Palestinian Labour Law No. 7 of 2000, under the guidance of the Lead Consultant. Key tasks include reviewing relevant legal and policy documents, analyzing 14 contested provisions, compiling national data and stakeholder perspectives, and contributing to draft legal texts. The consultant will participate in and facilitate technical consultations with tripartite stakeholders, document proposals and consensus, and provide inputs to background notes, inception reports, draft options, revised provisions, and the final report. Deliverables are aligned with the Labour Law Reform Action Plan and international labour standards. The role ensures timely, high-quality, and context-specific contributions that support consensus-building, tripartite dialogue, and the technical and legal advancement of the reform process over a six-month period. Please note that if travel is required for this assignment, the necessary travel costs will be covered by the ILO.
