The purpose of this work assignment is to develop, within the context of the National Curriculum Framework for children from Birth to Four years (NCF), technical guidance, based on evidence, regarding responding to and supporting adverse childhood experiences in the early years through early learning programmes. This will be achieved through the following objectives: To conduct a desktop review and situational analysis on evidence, policy, and curriculum related to the support of children experiencing adversity and the role of early learning programmes. To develop a technical guidance, note that provides a framework regarding the knowledge, skills, and approaches for the early learning programmes through play-based pedagogies. To develop supporting assets related to the technical guidance in the form of a policy brief, a user-friendly version of the technical guidance, a practice guideline, and a training manual.
